At the end of June I stayed in the small town of Mt. Shasta City, and drove around the beautiful Mt. Shasta volcano painting it from several different angles.  It's an awe inspiring mountain, and beautiful from any angle.  My first day I visited the Lavender Farm which lies on the north east side of the mountain.  Then traveled farther east and around to the west side again on the last couple of days.  These are 4 of the 5 paintings completed on that trip. All are oil on panel or linen canvas.
"Lavender Farm Below Shasta "  12 x 16

 "Desert Sage and Shasta"  11 x 14

 "Irrigation Creek Below Shasta"   11 x 14

"Shasta In Afternoon Light"  18 x 24
