#10 In the 30 PAINTINGS IN 30 DAYS Challenge

I painted this on location looking South from the Lufenholtz bluffs.  Cold and windy, it was another situation where I had to work rapidly before I lost the light, or got too cold to paint.  Two thirds of the way through I began using my pallet knife again to get the paint on and complete the piece before changing light ended it for me.  Putting the paint on thick adds an abstract feeling to some of the areas of the painting.  I liked the effect.
